Wallingford are still seeking their first win at their new Blewbury home after Buckingham Town 2nd won by two wickets in a thriller.

The hosts made 206-9 through Lee Ainsworth (74) and Ali Damirchi (33), while Matthew Thatcher took 5-63.

Warren Ainsworth then took 5-68, but Alex O’Dell made 58 as Town scrambled to 208-8 with eight balls to spare.

Matthew Neilson took 3-18 and hit an unbeaten 50 against his former club as Hanborough beat Cumnor 2nd.

The visitors could manage only 130 all out from 52 overs.

The home side recovered from losing two early wickets to reach 131-2 through Neilson and Andy Oliver (56no).

Greg Jenkins took 6-25 for leaders Cublington, who despatched Great & Little Tew 2nd with ease.

Tew were rolled over for 131, with only Justin Parker (52) occupying the crease for long.

Daniel Catt then made 42 in the home side’s 134-5.

Horspath 2nd consolidated second place by beating nearest rivals Stokenchurch.

Matthew O’Connor (45) top-scored in Horspath’s 235-6.

Arshad Latif hit 82 in reply, but Tom Smith claimed 4-38 as Stokenchurch fell for 191 in the final over.
