Oxford City athlete Hannah England is out of this weekend's Olympic Trials in Birmingham.

The 1,500m World Championship silver medallist has not recovered from an Achilles injury picked up in Hengelo three weeks ago.

It means that England is now reliant on the Great Britain selectors picking her as the 'wildcard' for the event, with the top two athletes getting selection for London 2012, if they run the qualifying time.

An additional third place is available at the discretion of selectors.
