SIMON Pritchard plundered 128 as Didcot racked up 241-9 at home to Kimble on their way to a win that takes them above their opponents and up to second.

Bradley Rose took 3-31 for the visitors, who crumbled to 120 all out after the interval when David Slade continued his fine form by taking 5-31 and James Taylor bagged 3-35.

Didcot 25pts, Kimble 5

Conor Jones took 5-42 for Challow & Childrey 2nd, but could not stop Jordan Ford (71) and Rob Hood (42) steering Abingdon Vale 2nd to 215-9.

Joe Butcher chipped in with 30 and then took 3-49.

But Luke Jones (62) and the weather prevented Vale pushing for victory as Challow made 132-6 from 39 overs.

Chris Jeffcock hit 86 while Paul Alder took 5-49 in Thame Town 2nd’s 175 all out at Horspath 3rd.

Lloyd Belcher claimed 3-32 for Horspath, who were in trouble on 74-6 against George Patey (3-22) in the 33 overs they received of an aborted reply.
