RADLEY secured promotion after winning Division 2 Central of the Southern Athletics League.

Victory in the final round at Parliament Hill completed an unbeaten season for Radley, who will compete in Division 1 next season.

Osman Muskwe won five men’s A-string events.

Muske triumphed in the high jump, long jump, triple jump, shot and discus.

Ramone Smith recorded a sprint double in the 100m and 200m.

Other victories came from James Cody (800m), Ashley Johnson (110m hurdles) and David Olusile (400m).

Emma O’Hara collected three ladies’ wins, triumphing in the hammer, discus and shot put.

Lois Waknell won the 100m and 200m, while Gina Sunderland bagged a hurdles double in the 100m and 400m.

Oxford City were relegated to Division 3 after finishing ninth in the standings.

ABINGDON Amblers and Radley teamed up to win ladies’ gold for Oxfordshire in the Inter-Counties Race Walking Championships at Hillingdon.

Radley’s Gemma Bridge, 19, completed the 10km course in 55mins 35secs for sixth place.

Abingdon’s Judy Howard (V55) clocked 63.00 for 12th, while Noel Blatchford (V60) finished 14th in 65.40.
