Jack Brooks enjoyed another memorable day for Yorkshire today, hitting a half-century at Lord’s.
The former Oxfordshire seamer, batting at No 10, struck ten fours in a 69-ball 50 not out as the LV= County Championship Division 1 winners closed in on another success.
The ex-Tiddington paceman, who failed to pick up a wicket in Middlesex’s first innings, then took a caught and bowled chance to remove Neil Dexter.
Brooks ended with figures of 1-65 as Middlesex closed on 274-5 – a lead of 81.
