OXFORDSHIRE'S Western Division opener with Wiltshire has ended in a draw after the final day was abandoned due to heavy and persistent rain.
Prospects of a positive result had looked bleak overnight after the wet weather had also washed out yesterday's play.
Wiltshire were due to resume at Great & Little Tew on 91-5, having dismissed skipper Jonny Cater’s Oxon side for just 95 on Sunday in the Unicorns Counties Championship clash.
But the weather conditions prevented any further action and play was abandoned for the day in the early afternoon.
Today's start had been brought forward to 10.30am, but there was never any chance of play after heavy downpours overnight and early morning.
