  • "Never going to have a clean canvas. Until we move grounds. All the negatively around the ground needs to be removed,perhaps with a new chairman and more investment in a new ground or a ground nearby.
    This club can be very big,but until this happens we we continue to run along the bottom of the leagues.
    As I stated in early December,and has been proven where not good enough to go up.
    My worry is that we will be in the bottom four in November and the head. Coach as it is called this time around will leave and because the chairman will not invest in the team, like Northampton chairman did we end up in the non league again and go bust.be sure the present chairman. Would leave at that point. You guy's may be pushing in the wrong direction onto purpose. Be satisfied with what you have take small steps.but we need to start again"

Andy Melville resigns as Oxford United coach

Andy Melville has left Oxford United after five years as part of the club's coaching staff.

The former defender, who won 65 caps for Wales, said he does not have another job in mind, but intends to assess his options after resigning.

Melville told the club's website: "I have worked with some tremendous people and it has been a privilege to work at the club.

“I now feel that the time is right to move on. I don’t have a specific job out there to go to but I would like the opportunity to take stock and see what is available."
