SIMON Eastwood is expected to be fine to play for Oxford United at Wembley after giving the home fans a scare against Bury.
The goalkeeper’s ever-present run looked under threat when he stayed down after diving for a shot which flew wide 20 minutes from time in the 5-1 victory.
But after receiving treatment on the shoulder problem, he was able to continue and head coach Michael Appleton does not believe it will trouble his No 1 in the Checkatrade Trophy final on Sunday.
He said: “When he went down to try to make the save he opened the joint a little bit, but he’s made of tough stuff, so he’ll be fine.”
