Oxford City will give a late fitness test to Steve Basham ahead of the trip to Blue Square Bet North basement boys Hinckley on October 2.

The former Oxford United striker limped off with a groin injury during the 3-0 home defeat by Guiseley and is rated doubtful. Albi Skendi is added to the squad.

“It’s going to be another tough game,” said City boss Mike Ford. “They are desperate to get a good result and we have to make sure it’s not their night.”

Oxford City: from Carter, Mills, Stonehouse, Malone, Gunn, Willmott, Cook, Pond, Basham, Walcott, Benjamin, Sharif, Barcelos, Ballard, Learoyd, Skendi.

Meanwhile, Banbury United will host Merthyr on October 27 if they win their FA Carlsberg Trophy first qualifying round replay at Wimborne. The sides drew 1-1.

Didcot Town’s reward for their 3-1 first-round win over Cinderford Town is a tie against the Poole Town v Bashley replay.

North Leigh will face a trip to Chippenham Town in round two in they win their replay at Sholing.
