HAT-TRICKS from player-manager Gavin Preston and Jelroy Constant helped AFC Hinksey thump AFC Cowley 11-3 in the Premier Division, writes TIM SIRET.

Long-range goals were the order of the day with Preston firing home a powerful 25-yard free-kick and Constant netting a thundering drive from 30 yards.

But the ultimate humiliation for Cowley was seeing their former keeper Karl Adams come out of goal and also score from distance.

Michaes Herbert, Martino Ventriglia, sub Mark Baxter and an own goal completed the Hinksey tally, while Aaron Barrett (2) and Wayne Grant replied.

The league’s leading scorer, Lee Spencer, hit a hat-trick, but that was only good enough for leaders Donnington to earn a 4-4 draw at Cross Keys in Division 1.

Aaron Williams also struck for the visitors, who raced into a three-goal lead, but were pegged back 3-3 by a resolute Keys.

Jim Lee, Jim Taylor and Phil Hedges scored their goals.

Donnington regained the lead before Lee Watson equalised for Keys in the last minute.

Wallingford Keys moved into second with a 3-2 win at Standlake Garage thanks to strikes from Martin White, Adam Cox and Liam Woods.

Standlake hit back with a Chris Charleston strike and an own goal from Johnny Dix.

Nick Skiller scored in the last minute to give Chalgrove a 2-1 win over Kennington United.

Simon Godfrey fired Chalgrove ahead from the spot, before Rob Andrews equ-alised.

Mason Arms notched up their first win, Paul Hedger scoring twice as they triumphed 5-4 at home to Kidlington Royals in a thriller.

Mark Johnson, Edgar De Silva and Jamie McCauly also netted for Mason.

Steve Litten’s treble for Royals was no consolation, John Webb netting their other goal.

OUP Wanderers also recorded their first victory, Luke Murphy hitting a brace in a 5-3 home win over Sutton Revolution.

Ben Copeland, Wayne Sinclair and Deshawn Whiteman also netted for OUP, while a Chris Shahab double and a goal from Jamie Madge were not quite enough.
