Masons Arms took advantage of playing the day’s only Division 1 clash by winning a thriller 4-3 at OUP Wanderers and climbing to second.

Bradley Fine (2), Craig Dean and Rui De Garces were on target for Masons, while Jay Brown, Ollie Burrows and Dean Williams’s strikes weren’t quite enough for Wanderers to grab a point.

Research Machines powered their way into second after a fine 1-0 victory at Rutherford Lab in Division 2.

The winner came with just ten minutes to go as James Ivey crossed for Chris Coppock to tap home.

In Division 3A, hat-tricks from Jimmy Deabill and Andy Wheeler helped Blacks Head Bletchingdon to a 9-2 home win over Iffley Harriers.

Chris Thorne added a brace, Mark White grabbing the other Bletchingdon goal. Harriers replied through Hanny Musa and a spot-kick from JP Doyle.

Polish side Zubry Oxford finished off the year win a last gasp 3-2 win over luckless Northway Boys & Girls.

Northway scored what appeared a last-minute equaliser, but Zubry went up the other end to win the game with the last kick of the match.

Marcin Walendowski hit a brace for Zubry, Lukasz Wolinski getting the other, while a double from Northway’s Dinarte De Souza was not enough.

Abingdon Knights completed the double over Chatsworth Buccaneers in a 5-2 home win that keeps them second in Division 3B.

Ed Morey followed up Luke French’s shot for Knights’ opener and Chris Stringer made it 2-0 at the break.

James McCauge pulled one back to give his side hope, but Chris Stringer, Morey and substitute Phil Stringer made it 5-1 before Chris Green grabbed Chatsworth’s second.

Berinsfield Rebels defeated Jackass Inn 5-3 to avenge an earlier loss by the same score.

Stuart Newport and Richard Whipp hit doubles for Berinsfield, with Jon Welch also on target.

Ross Tyler (2) and Joe Betterridge replied for Jackass.
