Ryan Brooks scored twice as Oxford Yellows won their heavyweight battle at AFC Hinksey 4-2 to reach the last four of the Oxfordshire FA Sam Waters Sunday Cup, writes TIM SIRET.

In this all-UTV League Premier Division clash, Yellows got off to a flier, leading 2-0 thanks to Sean Flaherty and Brooks.

Kieran Davis pulled a goal back for Hinksey, but strikes from Rocky Whiting – with a fine overhead kick – and Brooks put Yellows in command at 4-1.

Jelroy Constant's late header for Hinkey made no difference to the outcome.

In the semi-finals, Yellows face Kidlington Royals, who routed hosts Dorchester 11-0.

James Organ helped himself to a hat-trick, while other goals came from Mark Janes (2), Ryan Curtin (2), Liam O’Callaghan, John Mills, Zac McEachran and Lewis Coyle.

Rover Cowley were made hard to work by visitors Barton United before recording a 2-0 win.

Rover took the lead through Ben Green from Craig Hambridge’s precise free-kick.

But they had to wait until the last minute before doubling their tally through Craig Hambridge.

Rover now have a tasty semi-final against last year’s beaten finalists, Highfield Social Club, who won 3-1 at Chinnor Exiles.
