Andy Hooker recorded the biggest margin of victory, beating Mike Tippett 5 & 4.
Debutant Matthew Trevel-yan’s match against Del Spencer only went one hole further, with City’s new man winning 4 & 3.
Bob Chivers beat Colin Varney 2 & 1 to send the hosts through.
North Oxford’s wins came from Paul Baker, who beat City captain Mark Walker 3 & 1, and Matthew Henderson’s 4 & 3 success over Andy Harris.
JAMIE Smith set a new winter course record at Hinksey Heights, with 46 points in the March stableford.
