EDDIE Pepperell produced a superb six-under-par round of 65 to finish joint third in the KLM Open in Holland.
The 26-year-old golfer, from Abingdon, birdied three of the last four holes to finish on a 13-under-par total of 271, just two shots behind the winner Romain Wattel, of France.
It was Pepperell’s second top-five finish in his last two tournaments, following his fifth place in the Czech Masters a fortnight ago.
His final round – the best of the day – helped him pocket more than £64,500.
The Frilford Heath tour professional has climbed to 75th in the Race to Dubai money race, with the top 60 set to compete in the end-of-season spectacular in the Middle East.
Pepperell is also now placed in the top six of the points table for next year’s Ryder Cup in Paris.
