FRILFORD Heath are officially opening their new 100 square metre golf shop and performance centre on Thursday.
Nick Pink, chief executive of England Golf, will be joining the club’s executive chairman, Alistair Booth, as they open the doors for the first time, welcoming members and the public.
The performance centre will offer visitors the opportunity to practise and play on some of the world’s leading courses with the help of an innovative golf simulator.
Visitors will also have access to the latest in custom fitting technology, enabling players to have tailor-made golf equipment.
To help improve their skills, golf enthusiasts will be able to save their swing data to revisit and work on at a later date.
On the launch day visitors will be able to challenge some of the club’s new team, including PGA professional Harriet Matthews, with a ‘longest drive’ and a ‘nearest to the pin’ competition.
