LONDON Welsh will not lose sight of the bigger picture when they battle to reach the British & Irish Cup quarter-finals tomorrow.
That is the message from assistant coach Ollie Smith as Welsh prepare to take on London Scottish at Richmond Athletic Ground (2).
The visitors stand a good chance of progressing if they can secure a bonus-point victory, although other results may need to go their way.
“We’ll focus on the performance and how that builds momentum towards our upcoming Championship matches,” said Smith (above).
“If we can get out of the group, that will be a bonus.
“It is hard to compete on all fronts and the priority is the league, we make no bones about that.
“There is a lot of investment going into the club to try and achieve promotion.”
LONDON Welsh have moved their home Greene King IPA Championship match with Rotherham to Sunday, February 9 (2.30).
The Kassam Stadium contest was due to be held on Saturday, February 8.
But they have changed the date to avoid a clash with the Ireland v Wales RBS Six Nations game.
