Police are appealing for help in tracing a woman from Deddington who has gone missing.

Anita Allan, 29, who lives in Bull Ring, Deddington, was reported missing by her family on Tuesday, July 15, and investigations have found she was last seen by friends the same day.

Missing persons co-ordinator Paul Garbett said: "Anita told friends she was thinking of going to Norfolk or Kent, but we also have information that she may have been in the Salford area of Manchester in recent days.

"She has been having personal problems recently, so we would like to contact Anita and confirm she is safe and well as soon as possible.

Anita is 6ft 1in tall, thin and has collar-length dark brown hair.
