Police have recovered suspected stolen jewellery after finding three stolen cars.
The cars, a black Audi S5 Quattro found in Old Grimsbury Road, Banbury; a black Volkswagen Golf found in Warwickshire, and a gold BMW, found in Slough, are all suspected of having cloned number plates and of being used to commit crime.
Inside one of the vehicles police found jewellery. Officers are inviting the public to identify the items between 10am and noon on Saturday, March 12, at Banbury Police Station.
PC Steve Perry, of the Priority Crime Team, said: “Please come along to speak to us if you think it may be your jewellery or you have any concerns or information that could help our investigations.”
Other stolen items believed to be connected to the investigation were found in a hedgerow on Rosedale Avenue, Banbury, on Friday, February 11. Anyone with information should call police on 08458 505505 or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
